Some Kind of Wonderful Page 12
“Perfect. God, baby, you are perfect,” Conan said and cupped her breasts then suckled one as she moaned the moment her lips wrapped around Axel’s cock. He closed his eyes and relished in the feel of her mouth on him. He caressed her hair, her back, and then felt her grunt and move forward.
“Fuckin’ heaven. It’s heaven in this ass,” Birdie said, and he began to rock his hips and thrust his cock into her asshole. Freddie knelt on the bed and massaged her ass and her back. He gripped her hair and followed her movements as she bobbed her head up and down over Axel’s cock. It was incredible, and the bond between all of them was fierce.
“I’m next. I’m going to fuck that ass deep and hard, C.C., so you don’t forget us. We’re going to make a lot of plans, honey. We’ll work this out, because making love to you is perfection,” Freddie told her.
They continued to thrust into her, and Axel felt the same way that Freddie expressed. As he came in her mouth and she swallowed his seed, he leaned back and watched his team make love to their woman. Birdie came next in her ass, and then Freddie took his place. Freddie got Conan all fired up, and they pounded into her body over and over again until the three of them came together. She collapsed onto Conan’s chest as Freddie slid his cock from her ass, and immediately Axel and Birdie reached out and massaged her ass cheeks. They chuckled and she moaned. Then came the disappointing feeling that they would have to drive her home, and once again they would be alone in their separate beds, instead of together, bound by this woman who completed their team.
Chapter 5
The alarm clock rang, and she regretted saying she would work at the café in Central Valley this morning. The guys forgot about her having to work so early, and they hadn’t dropped her off until 2:00 a.m. She felt badly for missing dinner with Aiden and Elsie, but when she texted Elsie that she wasn’t making it home to dinner, her cousin sent smiley faces and told her not to worry and that she would tell Aiden she didn’t make it home because she was called into work. Elsie was even going to stand the teddy bear up so Aiden would think that C.C. came home and then left. That guilty feeling hit her belly, but then came the happiness, the feeling that life was getting better, and seemed better because of Conan, Freddie, Birdie, and Axel. Holy God, she’d had sex with all of them last night. She’d had anal sex. Her face felt flush, and she covered it with her hands as she giggled and got out of bed. The exhaustion hit her several times from there on out as she took another quick cold shower, tried not to fantasize about the way the men explored her body and made love to her, then she hurried out, got dressed in black jeans, sneakers, and a white sleeveless blouse. She headed down the hallway, and before she made it past Aiden’s room he popped up, hair a mess, eyes half-open, and looked upset. “You have work?”
She walked into his room sat on his bed and caressed his hair. “Just until two o’clock. You should go back to sleep. It’s early.”
“Will your friends come over again? I didn’t get to show Conan my trucks,” he asked, and she smiled.
“They might. We’ll see.” She tucked him back under the covers.
“I like them,” he said, shocking her.
“You do, huh?” She smiled.
“They make you smile,” he told her and she nearly cried.
“I smile all the time,” she said to him and he shook his head.
“Not all the time.”
“Well, I’m glad that you like them. I like them too and they will probably be coming around a lot, so don’t worry, you’ll get to show them your trucks. Now back to sleep. Your mamma needs a little more rest. It’s only 5:00 a.m. I will see you later.” She kissed his cheek and then headed out of the room when she saw that Elsie was awake.
“You got in late. You could have stayed with them,” Elsie said and C.C. shook her head.
“It was a lot last night, and I was worried about Aiden. I need to get going. We’ll talk later.”
“Oh yes, we sure will talk later. You look happy, C.C.”
C.C. gulped. “I’ll see you later.”
Two hours later, C.C. was rushing around the diner in Central Valley, smiling at customers, and making great money. She would have that five grand paid off in no time. In fact, maybe something great would come of that contact she made with Morgan Chase and his entertainment company. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a normal job? A more professional job. Maybe Axel, Conan, Freddie, and Birdie would like to be dating a professional woman, instead of one hustling on various jobs, trying to make ends meet, and passing out every time they made love to her. Her cheeks warmed as she poured more coffee to the patrons, and the owner of the diner asked her if she was available any other days to work. She told her she wasn’t, but to keep her in mind as a fill-in in case, like today, one of her regular employees couldn’t make it in.
Before long it was noontime, and she went to check her cell phone to make sure that Aiden and Elsie were okay when she saw the texts from the guys and also one from Morgan Chase. She glanced at them quickly, the guys all apologizing for keeping her out so late and that they forgot she had to work. They wanted to see her later, and she invited them over for dinner. She would stop in the local store here in Central Valley before she headed back home. They of course accepted, and then she looked at the text from Morgan Chase. He wanted her to call him back by tomorrow morning to discuss a job opportunity for this Wednesday evening in Benter. She couldn’t help but to smile. Could her life be taking a turn for the better? Could she maybe find some happiness, some organization with her life and responsibilities? She heard the bell ring that food orders were up, and she put away her phone and headed back to the kitchen. Just a couple of more hours, and she would be ready to go home to spend the afternoon and evening with the men and her family.
Axel was on the back porch looking out at the open land. His heart was heavy with thoughts of C.C. He knew the others felt badly, too, for making her stay so late when she had work at the diner in Central Valley. They felt guilty, like they hadn’t put her first, and it led to a huge discussion about their commitment to her and how they needed to approach this kind of relationship. He missed her. Didn’t like that she wasn’t right here with them after the amazing night they had. He was conflicted about her age and her responsibilities and where he stood, how he could take care of her so she wouldn’t have to work a day in her life and struggle. He closed his eyes and exhaled. She would fight that. She was strong, independent, and stubborn. Jesus, was she stubborn.
“Hey, what’s going on?” Conan asked, joining him.
Axel kept his hands on the railing. He was bent slightly, and he glanced at Conan. “Just thinking.”
“About C.C.?” Conan asked, but didn’t smile. Conan was tough like Axel, and remained with hard expressions all the time. More than likely it stemmed from their life experiences and being commanders in the military, in charge of teams of men. C.C. made them smile. Hell, just thinking about her did.
“Pretty much. I fucking feel guilty for forgetting she had work.”
“We all do, but Jesus, man, she was incredible last night and again this morning before we took her home. I didn’t want her to leave. In fact, I’ve been fucking antsy all morning, and when she didn’t reply to our texts right away I started feeling all sorts of crazy shit.”
Axel looked at Conan, eyes squinted.
“Like what?” he asked.
“Like how I want her with us, living in this house, in our bed all the fucking time. I want to hold her, have her in arm’s reach to kiss her, inhale her scent, and know she’s ours. Then I started thinking about how sexy her body is, how beautiful and youthful she is and how fucking old we are,” Conan said and chuckled. “Fuck, we’re robbing the cradle.”
“We sure as shit are, but I don’t care. The connection is insane,” Axel admitted.
“That it is. I also started thinking about her past, the struggles and danger she went through. She took a huge chance on letting us in. Letting the four of us claim her like we did,” Conan said.
/>
“I know. I think that’s why we’re all feeling sort of vulnerable and desperate to have her close.”
“She invited us over for dinner. That’s a good thing.”
“Birdie and Freddie headed into town to get Aiden a few things from the toy store, and also some flowers for Elsie and C.C.”
“The kid is adorable, and he clings to C.C. so much. Damn, Axel, when you think about what C.C. and them went through, and how C.C. could have died, too, that she shot and killed that guy to save them all, damn, it’s insane. It’s like I want to make her so happy, so free from all that’s tuff and responsibilities, yet I know she won’t leave Aiden and Elsie to move in with us. To spend all her free time with us.”
“I was thinking about that, too. We don’t know their plans, or how Elsie is doing with physical therapy. Eventually she could be able to take are of Aiden herself,” Axel said.
Conan leaned against the railing. “Or, we could renovate the old carriage house. Make it into a nice cottage and home, one bigger than what they all share now, and that way Elsie and Aiden could be close by, and C.C. wouldn’t have to worry about them, or about living with us and leaving them to fend for themselves,” Conan suggested.
“Jesus, are we jumping the gun here? We just got things started.”
“We’re in it for the long haul. We knew that before we took her together as a team, and family. She completes us, and there won’t be any other woman ever again for me. She is it. I want it all with her, man. I want a family, kids, the whole thing,” Conan admitted.
Axel nodded his head. “I want that, too. She’s perfect. She makes me want to heal faster, so I feel more whole for her.”
“Axel, you’re already whole. You’re just recovering and a little banged up, and it didn’t seem to stop you from making love to her in some pretty interesting ways.”
Axel chuckled, then ran his palm along his scruff on his chin and cheeks. “She is something else. Just thinking about her—”
Conan gripped his shoulder as he stood up smiling. “I know, man. I know,” he said, and then Freddie and Birdie arrived, carrying on about the cool things they had for boys, and that they may have gone a little overboard. Axel took a deep breath and exhaled. The war, the dangers of that life were behind him, behind all of them, and it seemed like happiness, and all the things they dreamt about were with C.C. and were beginning to happen. He just couldn’t figure out why his gut clenched with worry.
“Morgan, she is gorgeous, and I can tell she has a great body, is young, energetic, so please tell me you are serious about interviewing her for a management position and that you aren’t after a piece of ass,” Elizabeth said to him. Morgan chuckled as he crossed his arms and stared at the photos Andrew had sent of C.C. from the other night.
“She is hot, and very likable, but the commitment type completely, so my answer is this is completely professional. Plus, Collin knows some guys that know her well, and she’s taking care of a cousin with a disability and a toddler. She’s the main breadwinner and takes on whatever jobs she can get bartending, waitressing. She is sweet, and very professional. She has this classiness about her, and a way with people. You know I rarely grab someone out of the blue like this, or that hasn’t sent in an application, so you know she must be special,” Morgan said.
“Hmm, I guess so. We definitely need someone good who lives either in or near Benter. We’ve been getting more and more clients from the area,” Elizabeth told him.
“I know, and she could handle it, I’m sure, and it would be a nice start for her. I can totally see her even traveling a little bit down the road if need be, for special events, but that’s down the road. She texted me back and will call me tomorrow to discuss things,” Morgan said.
“Okay, give her a shot on the Lawrence party. Candice definitely isn’t coming back, so we’re desperate for someone to run things.”
“I think she’ll take the job we offer when she finds out the salary and benefits she will get. I like her. I think she’s good people,” Morgan added.
“Well then, I can’t wait to meet her. I’ll be sure to introduce myself at the Lawrence party if she accepts.”
“She’ll accept. I won’t give her a chance not to.” He smiled wide.
“Now, has Rogan been able to gather a few more men for security Saturday? I’ve got Seager, Law, and their friends lined up and need four more men.”
“I think they were talking to a few friends of theirs. I’ll get confirmation from them Monday, as well. We basically just need them around the perimeter, checking IDs from the list alongside the coordinators, and things like that,” Morgan told her.
“Yes, but they must be armed, too. You know how some of these guys are, and how they like to feel important. It’s all in the image,” Elizabeth told him.
“Got it, and since they’re willing to pay for that image then we need to make sure they get their money’s worth and these military men are authentic. In fact, they mentioned three men who live in Cherry Hill.”
“Great, then I’m sure they’ll be good choices. Call Seager and confirm.”
“Will do.”
“You are not going to believe this,” Clyde said to Cobus as he entered the club.
“What?” Cobus asked, while he was looking over some orders and things with the manager.
“Andrew, that guy who is cousins with Morgan Chase who owns that entertainment company we’ve used before, was out at a party Benter the other night.”
Cobus looked up. Any mention of towns near Cherry Hill, where C.C. was, gained his attention.
“And?”
“And, a certain sexy little blonde bartender snagged his attention and his friends. Had him drunk on Jack Sparrow drinks, and talking up a storm.”
“C.C.?” he asked.
“Yes, sir. Check this out.” Clyde showed him his cell phone and Cobus scanned the pictures. Sure enough, Andrew and some of his buddies were posing in pictures with C.C. She looked incredible. In fact, she would be sending him another payment soon.
“I got more. Seems Andrew’s cousin Morgan was impressed with her and is going to offer her a job.”
“What?”
“Yeah, not sure what but Andrew is excited.”
Cobus immediately felt jealous. “Can you find out more?”
“Probably. So you may want to make a move on her sooner than later. She’s snagged Andrew’s attention and his friends.”
“I was trying to take my time. I get a feeling she won’t be too interested in my proposition considering my stupid son screwed things up with her.”
“You’ve built a friendship with her that will get her to where you need her to be. You know it isn’t going to be permanent. It’s not like you want to marry her, make her your wife, and have children with her.”
“God, no children, but wife, where she is solely mine? I’ve considered it.”
Clyde widened his eyes. “I can’t see her saying yes to that.”
“She doesn’t need to say yes. I can make her. All I need to do is threaten Elsie and Aiden, and C.C. will do whatever I ask.”
Clyde shook his head. “She’s tough though. She shot that guy Dylan when he attacked them. She could shoot you, too.”
Cobus chuckled. “Not going to happen. I know what she’s capable of and how to manipulate her. Those maternal instincts kicked in, and she would do anything she could to protect Aiden and Elsie. I know that. I underestimated her capabilities, and the timing was off that night. Dylan screwed up.”
