Diane [The Town of Pearl 6] (Siren Publishing Ménage Everlasting) Page 9

“I want to feel important, loved, and appreciated.”

“Aw, baby, we want to give you all those things,” Drake told her as he reached out and took her hand. He pulled her between him and Lucas, and both men placed a hand on her waist. She covered their hands with hers, absorbing the feel of their manliness, and the warmth of their touch. She felt so comfortable with them. Heck, she cared for them so much already.

“I’m scared. Of a lot of things. But lately, I’ve been feeling like life is passing me by and I don’t even matter.”

“What? How could you? God, baby, you’re beautiful and sweet, and such a kind person,” Lucas told her and she smiled. He released his hand and reached out to press her palm against his cheek.

“Thank you. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and well, actually, you guys and Mark kind of encourage me.”

  “Encourage you?” Drake asked.

She smiled. “I don’t want to have any regrets. I want to take some chances. Some big and some small, but still chances on things that I’ve resisted or have always been too scared, too lacking in self-confidence to do.”

  “Like what?” Lucas asked.

“Like letting go, with you guys and Mark.” She felt Drake run the palm of his hand up and down her thigh and hip. She felt the tingling between her thighs and her pussy react to their touch.

“That makes us very happy,” Drake said.

“There’s more.” She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She hadn’t made the final decision until now, until feeling the safety and connection with Drake and Lucas.

“Diane?” Drake whispered. She opened her eyes and looked at them.

“I’m going to do that photo shoot in New York for the catalogue.”

Both men looked downright upset, but neither said a word. She pulled her lip between her teeth and waited.

“In the sexy lingerie?” Drake asked. She felt her cheeks warm and she started shaking just thinking about doing it. But she needed to. She needed to stop freaking out because when she did, she realized that she enjoyed feeling beautiful. Nothing ever made her feel that way.

“And some other things, too, like dresses for the fall, and whatever, but mostly lingerie.”

Drake pulled her against him as he wrapped his arms around her and pressed his head just below her bosom. She felt his hands move under her dress as he rubbed her thighs.

“Drake?” She said his name and ran her hands over his head. She glanced at Lucas who looked pissed off as he stood up and paced a moment.

She placed her hands against Drake’s cheeks as she felt his hands grip under her ass. She was completely aroused by the feel of him touching her there. She held his face between her palms and stared down into his deep blue eyes.

  “Drake, talk to me.”

“I don’t know what to say or how to react. I’m afraid if I say the wrong thing, you’ll get upset and think I’m fucking crazy.”

She shook her head. “No, I won’t. You said honesty and that we needed to talk things through.”

He gripped her tighter, causing her to lose her balance and press harder against his chest.

“I don’t want other men looking at your body, wanting you, fantasizing about you. You belong to me, Lucas, and Mark. I just don’t know if I can handle this.”

She nodded her head. She had to understand. She felt pulled between two desires. The desire to feel beautiful and free, appreciated and something more than just Diane Mercury, a sales woman in a small country town boutique, and the desire to possibly be loved by three men who only recently expressed a need to make her theirs.

She didn’t know what to say, or how to ease his mind because she wasn’t at ease. She thought she knew what she wanted, and then once the words left her lips and she saw their reaction, she wasn’t sure. But she already told Monique that she would do it.

She leaned forward and pressed her lips to Drake’s.

She poured all her emotions and desires into that kiss, and then she felt his hand move between her thighs straight to her silk panties. She jerked, only for him to kiss her deeper, while using his other hand to hold her against him. He maneuvered his long thick digits under the silk and straight to her needy pussy.

The floodgates opened. She moaned into his mouth as Lucas took position behind her and ran his hands under her blouse and straight to her breasts. She felt his cock against her spine as he rubbed against her back. But, she was more consumed by the reaction her body had to their ministrations.

She felt Drake’s fingers press up inside of her. In and out he thrust his fingers and she moaned, pulling from his lips. His brother maneuvered a breast closer to Drake’s mouth. The fact that they worked in sync like this made her imagination soar with fantasies. They would all take her together. She moaned and shook as the orgasm hit her.

“Oh fuck. Holy shit, Diane,” Drake said against her shoulder as she fell forward against Drake.

Lucas removed his hands and caressed her shoulders and back.

“Oh God, that was incredible. I’ve never…”

Drake placed his palms against her cheeks.

“You never what?” he asked. She felt her cheeks heat up fast. She tried lowering her eyes and looking away, but Lucas wrapped an arm around her waist from behind and looked at her from the side.

  “What is it?”

“Well, I guess this week will be full of firsts for me.”

  Drake squinted his eyes. “Firsts?”

“That was my first orgasm ever.”

She could see Drake processing her words, and when she looked at Lucas, his eyes suddenly appeared darker, as an expression of hunger and desire filled them. He placed his hand against her cheek.

  “You’re a virgin?” he asked.

Again, her cheeks warmed as she pulled her bottom lip between her teeth.

  “Diane?” Drake asked.

“Yes. I’ve never felt comfortable enough to allow any man to touch me intimately, until now.”

Lucas leaned forward and kissed her deeply. She turned into his hold and he made love to her mouth as her heart soared with affection. She was relieved that they weren’t turned off. She wanted to experience everything with them.

When Lucas finally released her lips, he held her in his arms and stared down into her eyes.

“You’re going to be ours forever. My life truly begins now with you, Diane.”

She felt the tears reach her eyes, and then she felt Drake hug her from behind and lay his chin on her shoulder.

“We’re going to take good care of you. Always, Diane.” He kissed along her neck and her body hummed with desire. She wanted them. She wanted to make love with them, and there were no second thoughts at all.

  * * * *

Mark gripped the cell phone so tight he thought he might crush the plastic. He listened to the distorted voice warning him to stop snooping around. It burned him inside. This was a secure line. How the fuck did someone get this number?

He disconnected the call and stared at the desk filled with numerous documents. Marzban Samir’s face stood out on the computer screen as well as pictures of Zand Yousef and Arshad Ehsan. He had contacted some of his informants and obviously one of them held a higher allegiance to the bad guys. Mark placed his hands on the desk and felt the anger consume him. This wasn’t right. These assholes have been getting away with too much. Hell, Samir was headed to the United States. What were the chances that Brenda would be with him. She’d pulled off disguises before. She was a resourceful agent, and the more information he gathered, the stronger his gut felt that she did not commit treason.

He turned toward the laptop and the small picture of Brenda on the screen. She was an attractive woman. He felt that guilty feeling for even looking at her like that or letting his mind remember the short affair they had. He didn’t love her. They were lonely and there was an attraction. They had sex and it was over. They both knew it was nothing more than that, and they never felt weird about it or acted differently. T
hey became close friends. There were other opportunities where they could have had sex again and they didn’t. They knew there was nothing more than friendship between them.

He would have trusted her with his life and to have his back. That thought now made him feel foolish and used. Could she have turned her back on the United States? On the bureau? On her team, including him? Why had she called the week before disappearing? Why had she said she was working on a similar case where there might have been a connection to Samir? It didn’t add up.

He stared at her picture. What the hell did you get yourself into? Who else knows what’s really going on?

“Mark? What is all this?” Drake asked as he pushed the office door open.

Mark turned to look at him and Drake and Lucas looked immediately at the small screen and the picture of Brenda.

He couldn’t tell them about the threatening phone call, or his gut instincts that Brenda was innocent. He needed more evidence. He needed to find out where she was and how the team could get to her. This was his job, his profession.

He pressed the button on the laptop and closed down all the screens on each computer at once. But that guilty feeling hit his gut. He never lied to his brothers.

“There’s been some changes in the case. I’m not so detached from it after all.”

“What does that mean?” Drake asked.

“It means, whomever Brenda is involved with knows myself and the rest of the team members who worked together. They’re making threats.”

  “Threats?” Lucas asked.

  Mark stared at him.

“I’ve got it under control. The newest information coming in from informants is leading me to believe that there is more going on here. I’m not certain, but obviously I’m getting close.”

“You trust these informants?” Drake asked and Mark knew he was concerned about the last time and how his own informant turned on him and Mark was stabbed, nearly killed and left for dead.

“I’m not taking any unnecessary chances. Just let me handle this. I shouldn’t give you guys too much information because this is a government investigation. But you need to know my involvement is necessary.”

“You better keep us informed, government operation or not.” Drake replied. Mark nodded his head but could tell that Drake and Lucas were concerned. So was he.

“How did the lunch date go?” he asked, now feeling like a fool for missing out on spending time with Diane. He wanted her in their lives. She was why he would end his career with the government once Brenda was located.

“You should have been there with us instead of worrying about her,” Drake said as he pointed toward the black screen.

“I told you too much about the case. There’s no more for you to know. Just leave it be, and tell me about Diane. How did she look? Did you make any progress?”

“You would know if you had come,” Lucas added. Great, now he was pissed at Mark, too.

Mark ran his fingers through his hair and then placed his hands on his hips.

“Why are you doing this to me? Just fucking tell me.”

“Which part? The part when we first arrived and three guys were hitting on her, whispering in her ear wanting to see her in the lingerie she sells, or the part where she told us she’s going to New York to pose for some magazine?”

“What? No. She’s not doing that. When the fuck did that decision happen?”

“Apparently because of us, and our support, and making her feel attractive and wanted,” Lucas told him, and then they explained their deep conversation with her and her need to feel loved, beautiful, and accomplished.

“We can make her feel all of that. She doesn’t need to pose in sexy lingerie for some catalogue that millions of people will see.”

“Well, maybe if you were there to talk with her and hear her emotions and need, you would understand more,” Drake stated with an attitude.

“I do care. I want this to happen, for the four of us to start a relationship.”

“Sure you do. That’s why you stayed here to work on a case involving an ex-lover who committed treason instead of working on our plan of settling down with the perfect woman. No more fucking threats, danger, or guts and glory getting in the way of what we want and need.”

Drake stormed out of the room and Lucas remained.

Mark was quiet as he took a deep breath and released it.

  “I fucked up,” he whispered.

Lucas walked closer. His brother was so damn quiet but he could tell he was feeling what Drake was feeling.

“What do I do to make up for this?”

“Lucky for you, Diane doesn’t know any of this or how Drake feels about the case and Brenda. We shared a moment today. It got intense, man. I mean, real intense. I need to know that you’re on board with us and with pursuing Diane. She’s special, and I won’t let you hurt her.”

“Hurt her? What the fuck? I know she’s special. Of course I’m on board. I already have strong feelings for her. But this is not just a case from work, this is personal.”

“Because you had sex with Brenda?”

“Because we were good friends and I trusted her. With my life. There is something very wrong here, Lucas. The government is hush-hush. The other agents’ informants aren’t trustworthy.”

“Did something go wrong? Are you in danger?” Lucas asked, and Mark knew he couldn’t tell him about the phone call. He didn’t want them to worry. He wanted them to all be able to engage in courting Diane without any fears or concerns.

“No. Did you talk to her about dinner tonight? Can I pick her up after work?”

Lucas stared at him. His brother was a hard-ass, too. He was so well trained by the military and closed up from emotions until now. Until Diane.

  “She’s special, Mark.”

“I know she is. We never thought we would find a woman who we all wanted to share and that would be accepting to such a relationship.”

“It’s more than that. We kissed her today. We fooled around a little.”

Mark’s eyes widened and he was immediately aroused at the prospect of getting intimate with Diane.

  “That’s great news.”

“Mark, she’s not experienced like we are. We need to go slow. We need to give her a hundred percent of us, because that’s what she’ll be giving of herself.”

  “I understand.”

  “I don’t think you do.”

“What is it? What are you getting at? I want her just as you and Drake do. I’ve thought about this time. It’s why we’re here and why once this case is over, I’m done with the government jobs.”

Lucas stared at him as if he was unsure. That lack of confidence from his own brother made Mark feel like shit.

“She’s a virgin. She’s never let a man touch her intimately until today.”

Mark felt the shock hit his body. That was why she didn’t date. That was why she stopped him from touching her at her place when she first returned from Dallas.

“Oh God,” he whispered, and then ran his hand through his hair. He went from shocked to utterly aroused.

“She is perfect. She’s meant for us.”

“I won’t hurt her, Mark. I want everything with her. I want to make her happy, I want to make her feel beautiful and loved. I won’t let anyone hurt her ever.”

Mark stared at him as an overwhelming sensation filled his gut. She meant more than any case. His brothers did, too.

“I’ll notify the department tomorrow that I’m done helping out. My focus will be on Diane and this relationship.”

“Good. You pick her up at the boutique at six, and Drake and I will set everything up with Sage at the Main Street Inn. We already reserved a corner table in the back.”

“Sounds great. Hey, and thanks for sticking around to talk. I’ll set things right with Drake.”

Lucas pointed at Mark. “You remember that we’re your brothers, and your safety is top priority. We’re both here for you, always. Diane will be, too.”

Diane will be, too. God, I can’t screw this up. She’s everything we’ve ever wanted and more. I have to drop the investigation. Diane and my brothers are more important.

  Chapter 7

“You’re sure about this, and about New York?” Melissa asked Diane as Diane changed her outfit and freshened up in the bathroom. She was standing behind the partition putting on a new teal-colored dress that Melissa pulled from one of the racks of new designs.

“I already told Monique yes about New York, and Elvira is benefiting from this, too, which means more business for her and us.”

“And what about the Santos men? Are you sure you’re ready for tonight? I mean, this is a big step, too.”

“Melissa, you were the one pushing me to get to know them. Going to Dallas and doing the show definitely changed my attitude and gave me the boost of confidence I needed to face my attraction to them. They in return have made their feelings known.”

Diane stepped from behind the partition and Melissa widened her eyes.

  “Holy shit.”

“What? It’s too much? Too low cut? You picked it out. Damn.”

“No, no, no. That’s not what I meant when I said that. Honey, you look outstanding. I don’t think they’ll be able to take their eyes off of you.”

Diane smiled and then looked in the mirror. The dress was from a designer in New York. The plunging neckline draped between her large breasts, but even as she moved around to test whether or not it would show too much, she realized it was just enough. Her breasts were fully covered even when she turned side to side or bent. The gap was definitely lower than anything she ever wore before, but she wanted to look sexy and beautiful for Mark, Lucas, and Drake. The rest of the dress clung to her curves and landed just above her knees. It wasn’t too fancy considering that they were dining at the restaurant bed-and-breakfast and were in the town of Pearl. People dressed up a lot around Pearl for dinner engagements and even special lunch dates.

“You should bring that to New York,” Melissa told her and winked.

“Elvira has already picked out all my outfits for the four days that I’ll be there. God only knows what that woman will have me wear.”
