  “We’re going to be spending more time together. We think it’s a good thing. Plan on staying late tonight.”

  “I can’t tonight. I have plans with friends and I’m not breaking them. This is my weekend off because of the many hours I have been working and covering for London. I’ll go put out some feelers for bartenders.” She looked at the door and raised her eyebrows up at him. He stared at her. When he stroked her arm, she tightened up.

  “Where are you going tonight and with who?” he asked, and she sensed Travis coming closer. She could feel him looming over her. She glanced over her shoulder, and sure enough, he was so close he could hug her from behind. She didn’t want this. She wasn’t interested in them at all. In fact, she was a bit frightened of their capabilities. She had seen how they acted with women and there was no respect. She heard they were aggressive and rough in bed. She swallowed hard and put on her fake, casual smile, acting like they weren’t scaring her.

  “That’s a silly question. You know who my friends are. I don’t know where we’re going though. We’ll decide when we meet up.

  Lance licked his lips and Travis pressed a hand to her hip.

  “You tell us as soon as you know,” Travis said and squeezed her hip.

  “Why would I do that?” she asked.

  Travis squeezed her to him and slowly placed his chin on her shoulder, his breath colliding with her hair, and a very eerie, sick feeling filled her gut.

  “Because we care about you, Bo. So very much. You’re so sweet, innocent, and men see that and want to take away that innocence and taint you. We can protect you,” he said, and she pushed away from him only for Lance to pull her into his arms.

  “What Travis says is true, baby.” He stroked her cheek and she couldn’t move. She felt claustrophobic with the men sandwiching her between them and the door right next to her. She couldn’t move an inch. They knew she was a virgin and that’s what they wanted. They were the ones wanting to taint her.

  “I’m a big girl and I can take care of myself.”

  Lance shook his head and Travis chuckled, then gave her hip a tap and stepped back.

  “That’s the problem. You think you can handle men. But it’s men that will handle you. Control you. Make you think you’re special and that you’ve touched their heart, but then when you succumb to their lies, they’ll bring you down and taint you,” Lance stated, and then clenched his teeth. “We aren’t going to let that happen,” he said, and as he began to lower as if he would kiss her, she pushed against his chest.

  “You are so full of it, Lance.” She laughed it off. Made them think she thought they were teasing her or playing some trick or game on her. It was quick thinking on her part because they both looked shocked and she laughed, opened the door and then glanced back at them.

  “I didn’t realize how much of characters you two are. Very funny. I’ll put out word for the bartenders now, maybe you want to call that agency you used a few months back when we hired Denise and Stacy?” she suggested and then chuckled, shook her head, and walked away. Meanwhile her legs were shaking, her belly ached and her gut clenched with concern and fear. How much longer could she blow these men off and defer their advances?

  Shit, she really needed to find a new job, and quickly.

  The band was playing great music at the Filling Station when the guys arrived. Channing couldn’t help but to laugh and smile as a bunch of people both from Sons of Justice and locals cheered on Bubba as he entered the bar. Channing shook hands and so did his team as beers were passed to them immediately and continued for the next hour. As they all bullshitted and talked smack about their masculine abilities and started coming up with further ways to challenge one another, he heard the whistles and then saw a group of young cowboys calling out to some women who entered the bar area. He had to do a double take when he realized who they were. Laci, Kendra, and Sam came into view first, and he stood up to locate Bo.

  “She’s there. Some guys stopped her,” Philippe stated.

  They watched and Channing thought about going over there even as his own friends started up with more jokes and stories. He took a slug of beer and when Bo came into sight, waving good-bye at the cowboys who stopped her immediately and shaking her head as if amused by them, he felt his heart clench. She was young, sexy, and holy shit did she look hot tonight. She wore a pair of very tight black jeans that hugged her body, heeled boots that gave her some height, and as she pulled off her jacket, she wore a dark blue top that didn’t reach the waist of her jeans, and was tight on her arms and dipped slightly lower in the front, but only revealed a little bit of cleavage. The woman was well endowed, and as she raised her hand to run her fingers through her long, brown hair and bring it to one side as someone on the opposite side greeted her, he caught sight of what he knew was a tattoo on her hip, but hadn’t had the chance to see what it was of exactly, just that it was colorful and maybe floral from what little showed. That and the belly ring, and holy shit, she looked good. Her ass stuck out in those black jeans she wore as well as her breasts, but she was petite, and thin. He could easily pick her up with one arm. That thought had him recalling the dick that did that to her one night and tossed her over his shoulder and started heading toward the door. Bubby nearly killed the guy.

  As they got closer, Laci, Kendra, and Sam greeted them all first. Then Bo was whisked up into the air by Big John and twirled around as she laughed and hit his arm.

  “Really?”

  “Well, it was just a twirl. I’ll save throwing you over my shoulder for later, just so I can challenge Bubba in a fight as a rematch from yesterday’s event,” he said and she squinted.

  “What event?” Bo asked.

  “The one where Bubba lifted up a jeep and pushed it up a hill farther than Big John did,” Reeves said and stared at Sam. Sam looked away. “Impressive, big guy. So after releasing all that testosterone and trying to prove your both not human, what did you do? Pass out for hours?” Sam asked, and they chuckled.

  “Ate everything in sight,” Bubba said, but he stared at Bo and gave her a wink.

  They all started talking about the strong man contests that would be approaching in the spring, and then obstacle courses that would be set up near Lake Freeman. Channing stepped closer to Bo.

  “How are you feeling? Is the hip all better?” he asked her, looking down into those stunning blue eyes of hers.

  “Oh fine, Channing. I told you not to worry,” she said, and then slid her hand over her hip. Philippe placed his hand there and bent lower to look into her eyes.

  “Are you sure, honey? We were all pretty upset about that guy manhandling you,” he said, and her cheeks reddened and she shook her head.

  “I’m okay, Philippe, really.”

  “Bo, beer or sex on the beach?” Kendra asked and raised her eyebrows up and down and looked at Channing and Philippe right next to her.

  She chuckled.

  “The second one,” she said shyly, and then looked away. She froze and Channing looked to where she looked, and it was right at Bubba and Thor who sat side by side on the bar stools staring at her.

  “No hellos for us?” Thor asked.

  She swallowed hard.

  “Hello, Thor, Bubba,” she said and then worried her bottom lip, but then Kendra passed her the glass of sex on the beach, and Channing placed his hand at her lower back.

  “I think they mean a proper greeting,” he said, and she glanced at him and then back at Bubba and Thor.

  Before she could move, another group of their friends arrived all cheering for Bubba and then pushing their way closer. Somehow though, Thor managed to pull Bo between him and Bubba.

  From there on out the four of them kept her close to them and engaged in conversation with others. She was laughing, smiling, and Kendra kept handing her drinks. An hour later, Bo was definitely a little tipsy.

  Bo was having so much fun. She felt alive, light spirited, and safe, especially
between Thor, Bubba, Channing, and Philippe. She took every opportunity to absorb their fine features and their personalities. Bubba and Thor were super big. So much so that it took several alcoholic drinks to make her relax instead of shake with intimidation around them. As did Channing and Phillipe with their good looks, super big muscles and yeah, she was not moving from this spot.

  She laughed again at a story Thor was telling and she couldn’t help but admire these men. Thor with his thick, large muscles, hardened expressions, and total badass hunter look in his eye, was a turn on. He wasn’t drop dead gorgeous, he was naturally male and manly, and his deep voice, the way he squeezed her shoulder or hip as he told a story, aroused her. She was shocked. She felt uneasy, but then Bubba was doing the same thing. He was tan, had practically a bald head, and was so filled with muscles that they peeked out from the collar of his shirt, his neck muscles were so thick and bulging. His hands were hard and had callouses on them, but she found that very attractive, too. Like he didn’t mind working with his hands, and in fact, probably used them more than he used tools to get jobs done. The fact that he lifted up the back of a jeep and pushed it was a bit concerning. If the man got angry he could do serious damage. She was small and not very muscular, it just wasn’t her physique. She worked out, but not like these men did.

  She swallowed hard and looked away from Bubba to find Philippe smiling and adding comments to something Big John was saying. Philippe was tan, had short, wavy brown hair, dark brown eyes, and was more like a martial artists in his physique. All muscles and not an ounce of fat on him. They were all over six-feet-two. She was pretty sure Bubba and Thor were six-feet-four, but even in these heeled boots she barely made it to their chins.

  She glanced back at Channing, and he was in a dead stare at her. Those dark narrowed eyes, the deep brown, short military hair style, and all those muscles pressed tight against his blue shirt he wore. She licked her lower lip and he stepped closer just as people walked by, making them all press nearer to the bar. Her ass hit the seat between Thor’s legs and immediately his one hand went to her hip from behind her, and Channing’s hand went to her other hip in front.

  “So where do you work exactly? Mercy said you have a commute every day,” Channing asked.

  She didn’t want to talk about work. It was a negative in her life and apparently it showed in her facial expression.

  “You don’t like your job?” Channing asked, and then she turned slightly so Thor could be involved in the conversation. Neither man removed their hands from her body, and for some strange reason, she liked it. It wasn’t like when Lance and Travis touched her or got close to her. She was definitely attracted to these men, but she wouldn’t act on that attraction. Her life was complicated enough.

  “I guess I’m just getting tired of it, and the late nights and stuff.”

  “Late nights?” Bubba asked, and now he and Philippe surrounded her, blocking out any other people from joining their little circle.

  She took the last sip of her drink and thought she should slow down. She was really having a good time and felt safe and relaxed, but she didn’t want to have a headache in the morning. Not with her plans of going hiking.

  “What do you mean late nights?” Thor asked.

  “Well, I work at a dance hall and bar about forty-five minutes from Repose. Sometimes I have to cover the bar manager’s position if there’s an issue, even after working in the back offices all day. It stinks, and the other night I didn’t get home until nearly four.”

  “In the morning?” Philippe asked with a scowl on his face. She nodded.

  “It isn’t too often, but often enough. I’ve been thinking about trying to find something else. I have a lot of options really, but the excellent ones would take me farther from Repose.”

  “You like it here though, and all your friends are here,” Philippe stated.

  “Exactly, so there’s an additional problem. I don’t want to leave here. I’m sure something will come up, and I can’t exactly just quit, plus it wouldn’t be smart. I have plans for my money I saved.”

  “What plans?” Channing asked and stroked her hip. As his fingers touched her skin under her top and against her hip, her lips parted and he stepped closer.

  “What plans, honey?” he asked, those deep brown eyes held her, and holy shit was she aroused.

  “Nothing I’m willing to discuss or even think about until I figure out my next move.

  “Maybe we can help you,” Thor said. She squinted at him and changed positions so she was now facing him more fully, and Channing was by her side as he moved too, in order to remain close to her. She liked it. A lot.

  “To bounce ideas off of us. Maybe some advice,” Thor said, and stroked her hip but let his hand slide toward her back and slightly above her ass. Oh God, she wanted to feel his big, thick hand over her ass. Holy shit she never felt like this before, and times four. She ran her fingers through her hair, and Kendra approached, bumping into her making her press fully between Thor’s legs and she had to grip onto his one shoulder and place her hand on his thigh to not fall.

  “We feel it too, Bo. Swear to God, we never felt anything like this,” Channing said, and tears filled her eyes. She felt emotional, unsure, yet at the same time pretty confident that this wasn’t bullshit. Then Lance and Travis’s words and their intentions popped into her mind. What if these men were just after sex?

  They were a bit older. She thought Thor was in his thirties, but Channing was twenty-nine. Not too far from her age of twenty-three. She was always more mature and advanced in both her thinking, education, and life style. She was a professional hard worker and had dreams and goals in life. She knew what type of man or men she wanted. Ones that would support her and not stand in her way. She didn’t even know if she would be interested in a ménage considering she was a virgin. Plus, these men were so big. Jesus, they were the biggest men she had ever known. That was intimidation and caused a bit of fear in her. These men were part of an elite organization and they would need to take off at a moment’s notice, and she didn’t know if she could handle that. She didn’t come from military.

  Thoughts of her family had her pulling back, but only for their grips to firm, and for Thor’s hand to tap her ass.

  “What are you thinking right now?” Philippe asked, stroking her hair from her shoulder. She looked at him and then at Bubba and Thor, but felt Channing’s hand caress her arm.

  “Like I’m going to pass out,” she whispered and Bubba chuckled.

  She felt embarrassed for confessing that, but then before she could turn away Thor made his move.

  Thor pulled her closer and against his chest as he leaned forward. The others released her and he kissed her neck. His lips warm and hard against her sensitive skin. He hugged her to him and wrapped her up so easily she was lost in his embrace, and she held

  Channing ran his palm up and down her back then to her shoulders.

  “The night just got a hell of a lot better,” Philippe stated and she pulled back, staring into Thor’s eyes.

  “I think I drank too much,” she whispered.

  He shook his head.

  “You’re not drunk. Don’t blame it on alcohol. This was bound to happen. We all feel the attraction, let’s just see what happens, honey.”

  “What the fuck?”

  They heard Flint Stone say, and then saw him shake his head. Big John, Reeves, and Tiny were all looking to the right, and there were three men talking to Sam. It became pretty obvious that the men were jealous.

  She stepped back and Thor didn’t release her fully. He put a finger through the belt loop on her jeans and kept her sideways between his legs.

  “I get the feeling Sam’s doing this on purpose to keep us from talking to her,” Tiny said to Philippe and Bubba.

  The man was anything but Tiny. The complete opposite at about six-feet-four, maybe taller, with mega muscles like Thor and Bubba.

  “Try to talk to her then,” Bubba said.

  “Seriously man, she is not interested.”

  Channing ran his palm around her waist and pressed it under her shirt over her belly, and then belly ring. She tightened only a second and then felt his lips against her neck.

  “See what effect you and your friends have on the men that are interested in them? It drives us crazy to see you talking to other men, flirting, maybe even hooking up with them when you belong with us.” He squeezed her tighter and then pressed his lips harder to her neck. She couldn’t believe how turned on his words made her. Was she seriously going to entertain this attraction? Could she, with everything that was going on in her life right now? She didn’t want Travis and Lance to pull some sort of shit and she knew they would. Hell, it was going to be a big problem quitting the job and moving on. Her family would be pissed off, and her dad, damn, what would her dad do?
