  Eric inhaled and exhaled several times as he stared at her gorgeous naked body. He bent down at kissed her hip. “Doesn’t mean I like two ex-lovers texting her or that I can just accept it,” he said and then walked back over to the chair. “Why don’t you guys get ready? We need to head into town soon.”

  “Do we have to?” Landon asked.

  “Let the woman rest,” Eric said, and then Landon leaned over and whispered into her ear.

  “Later, baby. You behave and call us when you get up,” Kenny told her.

  Eric waited for his brothers to get dressed after they covered her up with the blankets and stared at her a moment before they left. Eric didn’t like the feeling inside. He didn’t want to leave her, but they had to get to work. As they got outside, being sure to lock up her door before they left, his brothers looked happy.

  “I need food. A lot of it.”

  Landon chuckled. “I do too. Let’s hit the deli first grab a few egg sandwiches, Eric.”

  Eric mumbled and looked around the neighborhood as they left. He wondered why he thought those two men might be somewhere around and waiting for him and his brothers to leave so they could be alone with Cherise. He gripped the steering wheel tighter.

  “Eric, she’ll be fine. She loves us. We took her together multiple times last night. This is real,” Kenny said to him.

  “I don’t fucking like it.”

  “Like we do?” Landon asked. “I can’t even stand to leave her alone, never mind let her go to Harper’s where all the fucking guys stare at her body and her breasts and drool.   “She’s our woman. She has her life and we have ours, and we need to take our time to mesh our worlds,” Kenny said.

  “Mesh our words, huh?” Eric asked and gave him a sideways expression and then looked back to the road.

  He chuckled. “Mesh our worlds, like we meshed our bodies all night and morning long. I’m fucking tilted, but hell, if I didn’t have to work, I’d get lost inside her again right now,” Kenny said.

  “Wonderful. Now I can instruct class with a fucking hard-on. Jesus, our woman is fucking perfect, and young too. We will need to keep a close watch,” Landon stated.

  “Men do though. Look at those two young punks her age. Active duty Marines, thinking they’re all badass,” Eric said, and he pulled into the back parking lot at the MMA gym.

  “Like we didn’t walk around all cocky and ready to fuck things up? We did the same shit,” Kenny said to him as they got out and started walking toward the deli first.

  “We did,” Landon said and chuckled.

  “Cherise is closer to their ages than ours. She might find that more appealing,” Eric said.

  “Really, Eric? She didn’t seem to mind being ordered around by us in bed and even enjoyed having her ass spanked while one of our dicks was balls deep in her. She’s our woman, and we’re her men.   “Does it help if I say I agree with you a hundred percent?” Eric asked.

  “Yup, now let’s get food, eat, get through work, and go see our woman at Harper’s and spend the rest of the weekend in bed with her,” Kenny said, and they agreed.

  Cherise exhaled as she looked at the text messages again after she took a long, hot bath.   Her phone rang, and she jumped and then smiled, seeing it was the number from the MMA gym. “Hello.”

  “I guess we need to get used to our schedules.”

  “I suppose we do. Are you coming by Harper’s tonight?”

  “That’s the plan. We were thinking you could maybe pack a bag and stay at our place tonight and tomorrow?” he asked.

  She smiled. “I would love to do that. I was going to head into town to the store for some food, but if you’re planning on feeding me this time, I won’t need to do that, and I can come by the gym to say hi.”

  He chuckled. “We promise to feed you, so definitely come by. I can hit the store for food for the weekend.”

  “Sounds perfect.” She heard her doorbell ring.

  “Oh, someone is here.”

  “Who?”

  “I don’t know. I don’t have x-ray vision. Let me check. I’ll talk to you later.”

  “No, stay on the line with me. I want to know who is there.”

  “Why? What’s wrong?” she asked and then saw the dark black pickup truck and knew it was Ben and Eagan. “Uhm, Ben and Eagan are here.”

  “What the fuck? Don’t open the door.”

  “Rome, they aren’t going to try anything. We’re friends, remember?”

  “Yeah, I remember you saying that, but I’m a man and I saw how they look at you.”

  “I’ll be fine.”

  “Cherise,” he scolded.

  She opened the door, and both men smiled wide. “I’m on the phone with Rome and about to head out. What’s going on?”

  “We texted and figured you were tired from working all night. How about lunch and catch up before you have work tonight? I mean, if your boyfriends trust you with us?” Eagan said, knowing she was on the phone with Rome.

  “Cherise?” Rome said into the phone.

  “I can’t do lunch. I’m meeting Rome, Landon, Kenny, and Eric at their MMA gym. You know, that big place in town where all the badass soldiers work out and train?” she asked, and then spoke into the phone as Eagan and Ben stared at her wide-eyed. “I’ll see you shortly, Rome,” she said and then ended the call and hoped he wasn’t mad that she sort of hung up on him.

  She walked back into her place and grabbed her keys and purse. Ben and Eagan came inside. They looked at her.

  “We’re too fucking late, huh? You’re serious about those monstrous-looking older men?” Ben asked.

  “Monstrous-looking? Please, they’re incredibly good-looking, seasoned, and they love me and I love them,” she said and saw the hurt in Ben’s and Eagan’s eyes. She sw
allowed. “Listen, I’m happy that you made it out of your mission okay and got back safe and sound. You knew that one day this would come. I mean, I already knew it came for you when we were still dating and you cheated on me.”

  They both ran their fingers through their hair. “You were supposed to wait for us. You’re all we think about, all we imagine when we think of home,” Ben told her.

  She gulped, wiped her tears, and then fixed herself. “I can’t be friends with you anymore if this is the kind of crap you’re going to pull. You haven’t changed a bit. You only ever wanted me when it was convenient, or if I was being looked at by other men. I love Eric, Rome, Landon, and Kenny. They’re my men, and I belong to them like they belong to me. You need to accept that, and never try to kiss me or touch me again. You lost that right when you, number one, cheated on me and, number two, walked out that door and stopped loving me and thought of me as an object. We have been over for a long time. Now leave,” she said to them.

  She went to open the door, but Ben closed it. She didn’t know what he was going to do. “Have lunch with us.”

  “Are you out of your mind?” she asked him.

  “No, we want to know more about these men, about how you’ve been, because we don’t want to lose you completely,” he said to her.

  “Let go of the door. I have plans. Maybe another time, but not today. Not now after what you both just did to me,” she said and opened the door. She had her purse and keys in hand, and they stood close to her and looked her body over in the skirt and blouse she wore.

  “Don’t hate us,” Eagan said and placed his hand on her hip.

  She tightened up and felt ready to cry. “You’re making it easy when you do things like you just did,” she said.

  “We’re sorry. I’m sorry,” Eagan told her.

  “Just forget about it. It’s over. I need to go.”

  “Will you think about having lunch with us tomorrow or Sunday?” Ben asked.

  “No can do, I’ll be with my men. We have plans,” she said and walked to her jeep. They headed to their truck.

  “Someone of importance?” Seta said to Coin as they sat in the black Honda Civic with tinted windows.

  “Seems to be. They’ve been texting her, and she isn’t answering. She looks frazzled and emotional.”

  “Old lover they want to rekindle things with?”

  “Something to work with if they pursue her.”

  “We don’t have much time, Coin. Habal wants results. I don’t even want to be in this fucking country.”

  “Well, he’s paying us well. Let’s make a decision in a few days. We’ll follow the two soldiers. Perhaps there’s someone more important to them that could be the better bait.”

  “How did we get roped into this shit? We’ve driven for days to get here. Left work unfinished in South Carolina. There’s bigger jobs to be done.”

  “Coin, the boss’s boss wants these men to suffer. They think they can just take off their uniforms and head back to their safe zone after killing and destroying millions of dollars’ worth of product, never mind jeopardizing the sanctity of the mission and putting the boss’s bosses at risk to be identified. They killed his family, his brother and nephew. These terrorists do not just bow down and accept that. A man like Habal and a man like Havibe make their own rules and go after what they want. Be happy we are on their side. We pull this off, get them something they can work with and use to destroy the two soldiers, then you and I, my friend, are golden,” Seta said to Coin and gave his chest a tap. “Now, let’s follow them.”

  The moment she pulled up into the parking lot, Rome was coming out the door with Eric, and they looked pissed. She hoped she didn’t smell like cologne. She didn’t want to tell them what happened. She couldn’t, or there would be a fight. She just wanted things to be over with Ben and Eagan, and she believed she got through to them. She smiled wide and stepped out of the car. Both men looked her over, and Rome pulled her into his arms.

  “What did they want? Did they try something?” he asked, and she hugged him tight.

  “Of course not. Things were fine, and I told them I had plans with you guys all weekend long.” She tilted her head up, and he cupped her cheeks as Eric caressed her back. “I love you,” she said, when Rome stared into her eyes and she feared he would see through her smile and identify her upset. She was still shaking, she was so angry.

  “Where’s my kiss?” Eric asked.

  “Hold up,” Rome said and then pressed his lips to hers. She kissed him back, and then he released her to Eric, who kissed her and squeezed her ass.

  When he pulled back, he looked at her top. “This is some sexy outfit. I think we need to talk about wearing these things when one of us isn’t present,” he said and winked, placed his arm around her shoulder, and started walking her into the gym.
