  She looked at them as they stood and were now right by the chair her and Hadeon sat on.

  “I don’t want you to go away, Paulo. I take sex seriously. If you think I’m sitting here not wanting to say screw it and let you three make love to me and spend the night, then you’re crazy. I want that. I do. I want to feel more of what you three make me feel.”

  “Then we stay,” Hadeon said firmly. She shook her head.

  “We wait. Maybe go out on a real date instead of just bumping into one another at a bar then making out like teenagers,” she said.

  “I like making out like teenagers with you,” Andriy said, and she smiled.

  She glanced at her table. “I won’t ever look at this coffee table the same again.”

  Andriy and Paulo chuckled but Hadeon looked dead serious.

  “We have to work late for the event tomorrow night. We get together Sunday? Maybe go to lunch?” Hadeon suggested.

  “Okay. That will be perfect.”

  “Good. Now we need something to hold us off until Sunday, and I know exactly what will do,” Hadeon said and then slid to the edge of the chair and laid her down again on the coffee table.

  “Hadeon,” she scolded. He went to his knees, smoothed his hands up her thighs and then inhaled against her pussy.

  “This right here will be ours soon enough.”

  Fina moaned softly as Hadeon began to suckle against her clit and arouse her all over again. How in the world would she let them leave tonight, and was she making a huge mistake?

  Chapter 5

  “They didn’t spend the night, but they were there for a couple of hours,” Burner told Miami over the phone.

  “Fuck,” Miami replied and then exhaled.

  “What did you get on the two dicks bothering her?”

  “They got aggressive on Thursday and she wound up filing an order of protection.”

  “What do you mean, got aggressive with her?”

  “I don’t know the details. She didn’t need an emergency room.”

  “Good. Go on.”

  “They both work freelance for a few businesses. Mostly dabbing in importing high- end cars and car parts. Something to do with the racing circuit.”

  “That explains the sports cars they drive. What about the German company and the guy there?”

  “Well, turns out that guy is into crazy shit. A loan shark and dabs in some drug dealing. He owns several development companies along the lines of car manufacturers for parts.”

  “Have these two assholes done anything illegal with him? Anything we can use?”

  “I’m waiting on more information from Frederick. I showed him a picture of the two guys because he works behind the bar at a place a lot of these big shot car owners go. He saw them there before. He wasn’t positive but he was pretty sure one of them met up with one of the women that runs the escort service for Bronnos.”

  “No shit? Can you get that confirmed?”

  “I’m waiting on the call, but you know this could cause Bronnos some trouble. He runs that operation very discretely. Wouldn’t want to send him unnecessary trouble.”

  “We won’t. If it works out a good plan will be in action and all Bronnos will need to do is a little stalling for me. It’s the least he can do for me after all I’ve done for him. Keep me posted and keep eyes on my woman.”

  “Got it.”

  “You would be perfect, Misty. The money is fantastic. You get paid the following day, and you don’t need to have sex with them,” Gabriella told Misty as they sat in the café after lunch.

  “I don’t know. It’s tonight? What do I wear, and how do I know whether or not the guy is a creep?” Misty asked her.

  “You won’t have a date tonight. It’s more like a trial run. This woman sets it all up and the clients have to go through this whole background check. I’ve done it a few times and I can tell you that it pays fantastic and the guys have been so nice and respectful. Besides, tonight is just a way for the person in charge of picking women to see how you look and act all dressed up in such an upscale event.”

  “I don’t know if I like the sound of that. It’s bad enough that men look at me like their next meal, now some strange woman will in order to decide if I have what it takes to be an escort?” Misty asked and scrunched up her nose. Gabriella chuckled.

  “Honey, you have nothing to lose. You’re gorgeous, have that long blonde hair and big blue eyes. Men will be asking for you as their escort on a regular basis. Trust me, it’s legit and I’ve done it myself.”

  “I don’t want to go there alone and feel like I’m being watched.”

  “We can go together, except I’m supposed to meet a client at the end and attend an after party. Maybe ask Brea or Fina if they can go with you to mingle?”

  “Fina would not like this at all.”

  “She doesn’t need to know why you’re going or that you’re being looked at. No one is going to approach you, Misty. This is the first step. Give her a call. I have extra tickets and great seats at one of the tables with very wealthy businessmen. One of them, and I won’t say which one, will be the one checking you out and seeing how you present yourself.”

  “Oh, great. No pressure there. What the hell do I wear?”

  “Oh, how about that purple number you wore to the fashion show?” Gabriella suggested and then took a sip from her coffee.

  “That fancy?”

  “Hell yeah. This is not some stupid low life escort service. This is for high-end men needing certain types of women to impress clients, or show off for some different reasons. Like the guy I went out with two nights ago, he had to impress this man who was purchasing multiple products from his company. My date was a total computer nerd and didn’t know how to really act like a regular guy and have fun. I helped him out and midway through dinner, my date was acting all suave with me and I was acting as if I was putty in his hand. He closed the deal, and gave me a grand under the table. That was in addition to my regular pay for the night.”

  “Holy shit. I could do that.”

  “Exactly. So text Fina and tell her you have an extra ticket.”

  “Okay, but don’t mention anything about the escort service, Fina will flip.”

  “I’m not saying a word and either should you, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they catch a glimpse of Fina and they offered her a job as an escort. She is gorgeous, and has this whole classy, sweet look to her. Men love that. A woman that can be dominated and shown off. You two blondes will be snagging all the attention.”

  “We will not. Besides, didn’t you see that super-hot Russian guy she was talking to? She doesn’t need help in the hot guy department that’s for sure,” Misty said, and then dialed Fina’s cell phone.

  “Hey Fina, how are you?” Misty asked.

  “Good, just finished up at the gym and showering, now vegging on the couch. What’s up?”

  “Actually, I need a favor, and I have an invite for tonight. You aren’t busy? No dates right?” she asked.

  “Nope, just hanging out relaxing, maybe working on a few ideas for the next party.”

  “Well, I have tickets for the Grand Hotel and the event is invitation only for this evening. There’s going to be an orchestra playing, a bunch of business people mingling and networking with big shots. You know, not just anyone can get in there tonight.”

  “Sure, I heard about it weeks ago. So many people have been searching for tickets and asking around for favors to get in. It’s supposed to be very crowded.”

  “It is, and I have tickets. So pick out your fanciest dress, Gabriella is going, too, but has to meet a date. You and I can check out the new fashion gurus, and rub shoulders with the rich and snobby.”

  Fina thought about it a moment.

  “Come on and say yes,” Misty insisted. “We can meet up and take a taxi together.”

  “Okay. I have to look through my closet and find something amazing because I heard it’s black
tie and the women only wear designer.”

  “I’m sure you’ll find something. You have gorgeous sexy gowns.”

  She smiled. “Okay, what time should we meet?”

  “Six thirty? I’ll have the cab pick you up on the way and we’ll head to the hotel together.”

  “Okay, see you tonight.”

  Fina disconnected the call and then felt a little excited about going. It was a “by special invitation only” event and she knew that it would be a great time. She thought about seeing Hadeon, Paulo, and Andriy again and she nibbled her bottom lip and tucked her feet under her legs, looking at her phone. They had exchanged cell numbers last night before they left.

  Fina texted Andriy, Hadeon, and Paulo to let them know that she was attending the event at the hotel. She felt kind of funny texting them but considering what they did last night she shouldn’t, and she knew they were busy with work preparing the security around the event, too. She hardly slept last night, and kept wishing she had the guts to accept them staying with her. When she spoke with Adelina earlier and told her what happened, she gave Fina great advice. She also explained that if Fina was to get involved with the three brothers that she would need to accept some intense changes to her life, and a halt to her freedoms in more ways than one.

  That got her worried, but it didn’t last long. Just thinking about the three men had her missing them and wondering how their date would go on Sunday. Suddenly, her phone rang. Glancing at it, she was shocked. It was Paulo.

  “Hello?” she answered.

  “We got your message. Who are you attending with?” he asked her firmly. She was a bit taken back.

  “Is there a problem?” she asked, instantly feeling like she made a mistake texting them. Were they annoyed with her? Did they have an attitude now because they fooled around last night but she hadn’t let them stay over? What the hell.

  “Fina, who are you attending with?”

  “Misty.”

  “How did she get tickets?”

  “I don’t know, she just did. What is wrong? I didn’t have to text you, Paulo.”

  “Yes. You did,” he replied sternly.

  “Maybe I shouldn’t have,” she said and then felt like disconnecting the call but that probably wouldn’t be smart to do to a man like Paulo. He was quiet, serious, and filled with muscles. The man also had a small scar by his eye. She could only wonder where that came from.

  She heard him exhale.

  “Fina, we are very busy with tonight’s event and providing security. It’s a nightmare and hours away yet. We cannot provide you with protection and may not even be able to see you except on surveillance video.”

  He was worried about protecting her? From what? She felt badly for snapping at him and this attitude but his need to protect her threw her for a loop.

  “I didn’t text you to make you feel like I wanted to see you. I just didn’t want you to be shocked if you saw me there and I didn’t tell you. Listen, go do your work and don’t worry about me.”

  “That is too hard to do. I need to go.”

  She stared at the phone as he ended the call. It was so strange. She leaned back and chewed on her nail a moment then stopped herself from ruining the manicure. She didn’t understand these three men. Was it a Russian thing? To be so cold, distant, and bossy? When they were with her, close to her, they couldn’t seem to stop touching her. They were abrupt, Hadeon worst of all, and Andriy was fierce in his opinions. Paulo was quiet, but obviously, he shared the same snappy attitude his brothers had.

  Her next thought, she wondered if she did something wrong. Had she said something wrong, or maybe they thought she got tickets so she could see them and be clingy, or catch them with other women they would flirt with and maybe hook up with tonight? She felt sick to her stomach and got up off the couch. She started to pace.

  “What the hell?” she said aloud, and then wondered if she was out of her mind. Hadeon, Paulo, and Andriy were not like her friends’ men. Not that she really knew how Dmitri was, but he didn’t seem dickish to Rayanna. Commanding, protective in every way. Was Paulo being protective or was he concerned because by her going to this event they were providing security for, and she could catch them doing something they didn’t want her to see? Anger, jealousy, and confusion filled her gut. She threw up her hands. These men confused the living daylights out of her. Hell, she was confused herself. Did she want to sleep with them? Would it be a mistake or the best thing ever? Would they become obsessed with her, or worse, her with them? Lust on the brain. She was lusting for them. Holy shit, this was the first time in her life she wanted a man, hell, three men, and thinking about them made her body hum with need. Thinking of them with another woman made her see red. Those slick Russian gods. They didn’t want her coming there because they would be working security, looking even hotter, she was certain, in their black tuxedoes and carrying guns, speaking into wrist mics and secretly securing the place. Shit! Even that turned her on, imagining them like that and then she thought of the women coming onto them. Her anger took over all rational thoughts.

  She walked into her bedroom and opened up the closet. They wanted to screw around, maybe hook up with some bimbos on the side, well let’s see how you feel when I walk into that place looking hot and with men drooling all over me. Then it will be me hanging up the cell phone.

  “Just a few minor issues. Nothing too concerning, Hadeon,” Gino, one of the main guys, said to him. They stood by the balcony that overlooked the main dining area. Suddenly, his eyes landed on long blonde hair and a sexy cream colored, beaded dress. When the woman turned as two men offered her a seat at a large table up front, he saw her face.

  “Fina,” he whispered and spoke into his mic as he watched Misty, the woman from the other night—wearing a purple classy yet sexy dress—sit across from Fina and in between two men. Hadeon knew one of them as an entrepreneur from Spain.

  “Da?” Andriy said through the mic, and Hadeon could hear him in his earpiece.

  “Table four, right up front.”

  “Problem?” Paulo chimed in.

  “Possibly,” Hadeon said through clenched teeth, and watched as Andriy and Paulo appeared and both narrowed their eyes as they took in the sight.

  “What is going on?” Andriy asked.

  “Don’t know, but we will find out,” Paulo replied.

  Fina was laughing at something Pierre Lumin said as Misty spoke nonstop to the guy next to her. Fina thought the men were very nice and attractive, but she kept looking around hoping to spot Hadeon, Andriy, and Paulo at some point. Her anger at Paulo’s attitude diminished. After they had dinner and she realized how flirty the men were, she excused herself to use the ladies room but Misty remained where she was. She could feel the men’s eyes upon her as she walked away from the table and she didn’t look back. She knew she looked good in this dress. She wore it the night she had seen Brian and watched him drool over her body in it. She was disappointed that Andriy, Palo, and Hadeon were nowhere to be seen. She realized she missed them, and that being jealous was new for her and she definitely needed to work on past issues of her lack of self-confidence. Also, talking to other men, listening to them flirt with her and gaze over her body, had put her on edge and made her feel like an object on display. Hadeon, Paulo, and Andriy didn’t make her feel that way. When they looked at her body, she was on fire and the need to please them, possess them, came full circle. She couldn’t stop thinking about them. No matter what was going on or who was talking or the subject, she bought it back to the three men. She was in serious trouble if she let down her guard and let them in. She would be head over heels and if they turned out to be assholes, her love life would be over.

  What she would do for a hug, a kiss, a sweet hello from one of them right now?

  She headed straight through the crowds of people and right to the hallway where the lady’s room was. When she was finished, she exited to the right, noticing the many pai
ntings people were looking at and made her way further down the hallway and away from the crowds. She could use the breather to avoid more lame conversation with those businessmen at the table, and to process her emotions. She exhaled, looking at the outdoor garden scene in the one painting when an arm wrapped around her waist.

  She gasped and immediately covered the arm while simultaneously the familiar scent of cologne filled her senses.

  “What kind of dress is this?” Paulo asked firmly. Her heart instantly began to race, her body went on alert and she glanced up at him in the black tux and could feel the gun and holster under the jacket. His lips touched her bare shoulder.

  “Where did you come from?” she asked, turning sideways in his arms. He caged her in against the wall, not caring that he was making a scene. He looked down over the deep cleavage of her breasts in the tight-fitting evening gown she wore.

  “Why are you with those men?” he asked her and she realized Paulo was angry.

  “That’s where our seats were located.”

  He gripped her hip. “Do you or Misty know those men?” he asked, those dark brown eyes boring into hers. He was so large and fierce. He intimidated her yet excited her. Her nipples hardened and she wanted him to kiss her already. It was insane.

  “No.”

  “Are you enjoying their company?” he asked and reached up and clenched her chin then stroked her jaw.

  “No.”

  “You were smiling, even laughing.”

  “Being polite.”

  “Oh, so you pretend to be nice and polite sometimes?”

  “When it’s necessary,” she whispered and he pressed closer. His hand firm on her ribs and stroking closer to where she really wanted to feel it. Against her breast.

  “Kiss me, Fina,” he said to her instead of pressing closer, closing the distance between them and kissing her first. Was that how they wanted it? Her being the aggressor, or initiating contact, or being submissive? She really didn’t care either way. She missed kissing them.
